What happens if an owner (or the developer) fails to pay funds claimed by the association including assessments, fines, fees or other charges?

The association must use the rights granted in the restrictive covenants to collect them.  In developments subject to the Planned Community Act, liens and foreclosures of the owner's property are permitted.  Additionally homeowners may be reported to the Credit Bureau if your community has opted for this service.
