You don't know for sure until you submit an application, but the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for your community will give you a good idea of what is generally allowable and what is strictly prohibited. You can view the CCRs under the document library of your associations website.
When the board makes a decision on your application, a decision letter will be mailed to your mailing address. Also, you are able to view the application status (Open, Approved, Denied) through the Submit ARC Request section of your Associations website.
