Can property restrictions dictate the style of my home or the colors I choose for its exterior?

Yes.  Many Communities Restrictions or Architectural standards define the size, style and colors that you may use when constructing a home on a lot within the community.  Remember you must submit your house plans for Architectural approval before construction can begin.

You may wish to log into your community's website and review any pre-approved colors for your association.  If available, these documents are listed in the Document Library, under the community information menu.
